read this line first: I need an engine free or dirt cheap.

I just want a longblock to tinker around with, if all you have is a shortblock thats fine i can probably use it. I want something with VTEC, but i'm sure that would be hard to find free so really any engine is cool. Only local people to Portland, OR.
