Default new engine

Yo, I just cracked the engine block of my 1995 honda civic, and was thinking about installing a new engine. I would like to know if this would be a good idea, and how reasonable prices are. I want to trick this boitch out, so I am planning on putting in a vtech. I would love to find more resources that would help me in my decision (namely, a $400 or less engine),
cheers,

Ok many things wrong with this thread. First-Do research before making a post because there is a entire thread on what engines can be installed and in what car. Second- Its called vtec not VTECH like that brand that makes children's toys. Third- I highly doubt that your going to get a good engine for 400 bucks.

If you look around and do your research you can pick up a D16z6 for around 500 . These motors aren't expensive.
