Engine Freight Company?
For all of those who have shipped an engine or even recieved one, what company did you use, do you reccommend them? I need a company that'll pick it up, package it, and ship it. Unless someone knows a way where i can get the crate / pallet myself and package it myself. I was thinking about using this company http://www.yellowfreight.com/ but im not sure, anyone?

Re: Engine Freight Company? (stizzit)
why shop price on frieght? you just contracted to have your dream motor
custom built by some you never met. did you bust his *** on price? no!
so why ship with the cheapest guy? i had a guy about a year ago that just
had to have this motor sent to callie, the land of the real engine builders. ha.ha.ha. strapped his baby to a pallett, wrapped the hall out of it, and took it to his frieght line of choice. 2 weeks later he gets a call from callie.you guys did a great job strappin and wrappin, the motor didnt move an inch on the pallett when they speared it on the frieght dock with a fork lift. 3 mounths later he got a check to repair damage to the block. the cheapest guy may look good on paper, but they can take forever to compensate for damage. i couldnt even begin to recall the name of this outfit, so please dont ask. did i see you are in ill,? american frieght ways does a great job for me coming out of ill. good luck, ship truck,ha ha.
