gsr engines outdated???
i was having some car talk with some of my co-workers and they kept on telling me that gsr engines are out dated, that they just wont compete with what todays engines are putting out such as sti's and evo9's
i have been planning on putting a gsr engine in my 98 hatch for a while now, and if i do that what would be my results? would i be able to hang or get smoked by these modern day cars. well i dont want to be over the top with building my engine but if i race someone on the street i dont want to make it seem that hondas are slow and outdated, and if so what would it take to hang with them.

Don't really know what they mean by "outdated". Not like a GSR is some crazy high horsepower engine anyway. But people still use B-series engines and probably will for a long time because its easy to work on and doesn't require any crazy fabrications to get into a Civic.
As for will you keep up with a STI in a stock GSR Civic, I'm going with no way Jose
