Ok so im sick of seeing all these posts about b-series this b-series that, i want to no who on here is sticking with the d-series love, and seeing how im so board post pics of some crazy single cam setups!!!!

but it was fun. This was before there were really any aftermarket parts avalible that i knew of anywhere. I did have a larger fuel pump,, springs, rims, msd coil, si computer, bigger injectors, ported shaved head, removed cat and some other random stuff also

What injectors?

 

I have yet to do major mods
I still have priority projects b4 the mpfi (possibly obd1) conversion
vtec-Mini-me is a distant suggestion as well.

I want to dyno mine to see the real #'s from my JDM D15B(no-#)

I know it rocks on gas, and surprises everyone one that gets behind the wheel, even the stock si owners I know.

it's not a sleeper, it's just kinda a couch potato hehe

the lack of a # after the stamp on the block is the only way to easily tell it aint US

it has an opening in the head for a camshaft driven fuel pump that fed the dual carbs it arrived with and some extra holes to mount the JDM manifolds, but the stamp is the only thing that does not take gymnastics to see

The shorty and header are the only other non stock items
I removed the plate in the intake but left the screen over the flappers

I plan on all-motor mods only

D15's rule cuz the ratio of disrespect/performance is higher than any other swap choice

I was gonna add yours to my list when I remembered you went B series on us...tisk tisk.

 

ive got a mini-me with stage 1 cam, port polish, header, exhaust, intake, etc. si tranny and im going to boost it soon, buying peices and parts here and there

 

I have a D series in my beater. D16Z6 ftw. I beat the crap out of it, and it keeps on going. For my crx though I of course have a K. It is hard to get a D to 270whp with a stock bottom end. I am planning to redo my z6, and boost it, once my crx is done.

 

hmm...guys with the z6/y8 heads...did you guys have to do a hood tilt to fit that under the hood?? cause im having a clearence problem.
