need advice installing ksports
1. do i just snug the ring under the spring (spring perch?) tight up agaist the spring and lock it up ?
if i understand right i shouldnt use it to compress the spring at all, and i should rotate the whole lower part around the threaded part to adjust ride height
2 has anyone lowerd there car on these this way and took measurements of how much threaded part is showing?
i figure that could give me somewhere to start at so i dont have to un-bolt them so many times to adjust the height, at least the backs, i figure the fronts wil be able to rotate in the fork clamp
i've installed suspension parts and springs before just never adjustable coilovers, thanks
i know the reputation ksport is getting and im %95 sure i still want to use them for the fact i probly will only keep them for a year or so and i was cheap and needed complete suspension fast, my car came with fully dropped ebay coils that are ready to blow apart at any time and im sure the stock struts are pretty worked over.

1. Hand tighten the upper ring against the spring by hand until the spring doesn't move freely. tighten the lower ring against the upper ring. And lock into place with spanner wrenches. Lastly, yes you're right, the lower mounting area is used to change the height of the vehicle.
2. Don't really count the threads. Most people just use fingers gaps as measurements.

not really, it is all depends on what spring rate u got, it all comes down to how much stroke u have left, i found out around 7-8k is not hard enough to have it just snug(let face it, they dont give u very good spring, even when it is set, should keep checking the ride height from time to time), i would suggest start with setting the stroke 50/50 when it is static on the ground.
i am pretty sure if it was set right, without being very bad luck(like getting bad batch), your shock should last for a while.
