Default Question on Turbo-ing?

ok i know almost everything that i have to get , but there is one thing that i dont understand, how does the oil feed work and all that,please someone explain to me , everything about the oil, like how it gets to the turbo , where t run lines from and to

To make it easy on you get the golden eagle oil adapter.

thats not my question, my main question is how does the oil get to the turbo , do i have to buy some sort of pump ?

pressure from the block to the turbo, back into the oil pan,


you t off the oil pressure sensor, attach to the oil feed nipple on the turbo then add a drain back into a drilled and tapped oil pan with a fitting

It works the same way the engine's oiling system works. The oil pump pressurizes lines that feed the center cartridge and a drain line allows said oil to be evacuated at a steady pace via gravity. Be sure to install a pressure restriction in the feed line.

the oil is usually tapped from one of two places, both are pressurized already. some people T off of the oil pressure sender on the back of the block (near the filter). like luserkid said, the better way to go is to use a sandwich adapter. the GE ones are quality pieces, i couldnt afford one so i went with the blox sandwich.
