EAGLE rod and ARP rod bolt need help!!!!!!!
First rule of assembling anything mechanical. NEVER FORCE ANYTHING. If you have to firce something, there is a problem. stop and examine your threads if it becomes tight. There's is no reason for anything bolt/nut combination to ever get tight until it's seated when it comes to assembling an engine. You've likely galled the threads in the rod, the bolts are pretty hard, but chances are the rod isn't quite as hard
I already forced it in, my question, will it pop out when i go 8k-9k rpm? am i taking a big risk? If i take it back out, do i have to change the rod since the tread is already mess up?
I would take it back out and check the threads...and if it were me i would prob change out that bolt. All you need is some thing to come loose at 8k, and cost more then a cheap bolt
I got a set of Eagle rods for a customers engine one time and when I went to take the bolts out of them to assemble the engine the bolt broke right off, it was cross threaded right from eagle. I sent that whole set back in and they sent me a new set. If the thread is messed up at all, send them back in. Its not worth the risk.
now that u have already drawn it all the way down, i would back it off and re-torque now that ur not fighting the messed up threads.
I think that would be fine, aslong as u didnt have to REALY force it on the first time.

i don't think the rod bolt is mess up, it just kind of hard tight all the way down, but at the end, i torque it down to the certain spec. I don't know is that gonna work for high reving motor.

Did you assemble the rods with the ARP moly lube? This is the only bad thing I have ever encountered with Eagle rods. For some reason the bolts really like to gall in the rod if you do not use the ARP moly lube or even if you do not use enough of it. Do not run your engine like this! You did not get a correct torque reading because the bolt was galling. From personal experience that rod is probably trash now. Try to take the bolt out and you will see.
take the rod to your machine shop and have the check the bolt for strech and have them recon the rod maybe the rod just needs a tap ran through it to clean it up!
