Hows the sound level on this exhaust? I was looking for something really short and quiet. Iv heard from some that this is quiet, but i generally always hear loud magnaflows... and im scared. Right now im running a Comptech header with 2.25 in piping with 22in resonator, im wondering if it will be quiet and clean sounding?
Any input would be appreciated, Thanx!

4x9 is the body size what about the length
a 4x9x14 is relatively small and will be loud
i love the large magnaflows because they are super quite
i myself run the 5x11 with the 22 inch body and i love it because it so quite. i have no cat no resonators and a full 3" exhaust with a turbo and its super quite.
when i was allmotor making 200whp i had the 5x8x14 and it was too loud. then i switched to the 5x11x22 and evertyhing was nice and quite. all you could hear was vtec and the engine with no exhaust sound in the cabin.
i run the magnaflow 5x8x18 in my evo because thats the largest one that will fit and its relatively quite compared to most other evos.
just dont run round farn can mufflers if you want a quiet exhaust. round mufflers are normally just too small to keep the system quiet

i keep hearing mixed reviews from everyone... some people say its loud, some people say its pretty quiet.
BTW, its the 4x9x11in body.
Im looking towards a small sized exhaust that magnaflows makes that is somewhere in the range of a apexi ws2, greddy sp2, rsr exmag, comptech.

4x9x11 is a very small muffler. i sugest to run at least the 5x8x18
it also depends on the engine howloud the exhaust will be
the 5x8x14 was super quiet on my bone stock b16. but that same muffler on my build 200whp lsvtec was ungodly loud
if you want a quiet exhaust run a 5x8x18 or a 5x11x22

theres no such exhaust from magna flow
they make 4x11 , 5x8, and 5x11 oval size mufflers

I am still trying to figure out how a straight-thru design muffler can be quiet. I run a Magnaflow oval, and two resonators, and it definitely isn't quiet, gets louder every day. Maybe I just need a larger one, currently 5x8x14 I think.
As for the resonators, are you using the 4 in round or 6 in round? My guess is the 4 in ones to keep things tucked up nicely.
Riceball777, can you please post a pic of that huge muffler mounted up from underneath the car? We have an advantage being able to mount larger mufflers because our exhaust exits the drivers side.
