Ok i have a d16z6 - not that it matters but when i start eh car the oil light comes on and goes right off like normal then it will flash back on for less then a second then doesnt do it again at all, Anyone know why this is

 

may be a bit low on oil. if you do oil change and replace filter w/o filling it w/ oil light will come on till filter fills up and theres even pressure through out. dont worry about it. just indicated that there isnt proper pressure at that time.

 

Ok good i didnt think it was a real problem cause i ddint stay on for long just checking though, thanks for the help

what cluster do you have, cause i dont think mine has an oil light for some reason...

 

All cars have an Oil Pressure light, turn your key to ON, look for the light that has oil driping out of it, hard to explain.

 

yeah or park your car in the sun and you can see the gravy poorer thingy with drips coming off it

If it ever comes on your were screwed before it hit.
