No one is going to help you get into a hatch. We are all freaked out that someone is going to learn how to break into our cars.

Well... My wife locked the key in my hatch a couple years ago. I picked up a used window, I think it was about $15. It was $60 cheaper than calling a locksmith and took something like 40 minutes to replace. I will add that I broke the window by accident, not on purpose, but I still maintain that hatch windows are cheaper (but not easier) than calling a locksmith.

When I bought my new Hatchback the owner gave me all his old paperwork in a nice and orderly folder, then he pulls out his keys and starts to remove the Honda's key.... one, two, three, four, five,... SIX. He said that he kept calling a locksmith and would get a spare key made.... did him a lot of good huh LOL. Make sure your buddy puts a spare somewhere that he won't lose, forget, or likewise but that is still accessible for the next time he locks himself out.
