Car wont start again after a month. Its been good since the last time but the clicking came back.

Update:
Well not good news and I hope my car isnt completely screwed. Now I checked all my connections cleaned the terminals and went to try and start my car and now theres nothing at all my cooling fan kicks on when I try and start my car. Does this means a fuse blew or did I fry my starter? Never heard of this

dude, it almost sounds like a dead battery. If the battery doesn't have enough juice, you will hear the clicking, and then when the battery is deader still, you won't get anything. Usually your accessories and stuff will still work, ie the fan.

I know this seems trivial, but have you tried to jump start, or a new battery?

 

My car sits Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb and Mar every year, and every other year I have to replace the battery because it won't hold a charge ( I am too lazy to disconnect the battery for winter). Just replaced it the other day and starts right up...before that nothing at all.

Try push starting it and we will go from there.

 

Ok my battery tested really low so Iam recharging that to eliminate the battery. Then I will try to restart, then try to junpstart. Only question Iam trying to figure out is why my fan kicks on when I turn the ignition never happened before.

 

Update car issue is fixed problem was tranny ground was bad along with a few that were not grounded properly. Thanks for all the help
