b20b swap what next...

Default b20b swap what next...

well i just got my b20 w/ a chipped p75 ecu, 00ls tranny w/ stage 2 clutch , dc header w/ 2.25 pipes.. now i'm trying to see what else i could do to make my car give out more horses i heard of the b16 head and all ... what you gys recommend...

get rid of that transmission unles u plan on going turbo.Get a type r or atlease a b16 for shorter gear ratios.And yes a vtec head will help out alot.

i would first do a b16 tranny then sell the ls tranny and put that towards a b16 head.

o yeah i missed that your running an ls tranny defientely get rid of that you can still use your ls clutch in a b16 tranny too.

what wrong w/ the ls tranny ? wouldn't longer gears be good for me when it comes to b20/vtech????

ill be the first to say it...its Vtec not "Vtech" and no shorter you go through the gears the quicker you will go!

definately get a different trans, you can get an itr trans for around a grand with an lsd...then get yourself a b16 or gsr head.

i had a b20vtec with a b16 head and it was fast as ****. i had it on a b16 tranny. if you planon staying all motor upgrade to the b16 tranny, if you're going to really get into this a build for a lot of power and a turbo kit then id go with a gsr, the gear ratio is a little longer than the b16 tranny, but a lot better than an ls.

the ls tranny is the bastard tranny of the b series.

vtech=phone... lol but yesyou need a vtec head for sure and get a b16 trans

whatever you decide make sure you tune if you go with a vtec head. Tuning is one of the most important things when messing with a b20.
