WTB: 99-2000 civic style bumper for a 98 Ek bumper
Like the title says i am looking to see if they make a 99-2000 style bumper for a 96-98 style body, i dont want to do a whole front end conversion but i really like the 99-2000 fog lights, does anyone know where to find a bumper like this?? I NEED IT ASAP
Thanks
Thanks
You have to do the whole fron end conversion, if people could get away with swapping just the front bumper why would they bother with the rest?
No front clip body panels will match up if you swap between 96-98 and 99-00.
If you want the 99-00 front bumper you have to have the fenders, grill, hood, bumper, and the radiator support isn't necessary but would make it a cleaner/better fit.

he knows that but is asking if a company makes a bumper that looks like the 99-00 but will bolt up to the 96-98.
he dosent notice the sharper headlights and the larger grill on the 99-00 front end.
anyways if u find one it will probably cost more than 250 dollers.
all i paid for my conversion was 220.
then sold my old front end for 200.
do the math and search the market place

I've never heard of such a thing.
To honda owners it would look terribly mismatched. I doubt any companies make a 99-00 style front end.
It wouldn't flow at all.

again the same ht ****.
he saying all this crap that he probably heard from someone else that it wont flow and will be miss matched.
the only difference between the two front ends is the headlights are sharper on the sides.
the grill is wider and the difference's in the bumper.
so i would like to know how it wouldn't FLOW.

Well i've seen some guys cut the upper part of the 96-98 bumper (the part where the bumper bolts to radiator support). Then get a 99-00 bumper and cut off the lower portion and bondo them together. End result you get a 96 spec bumper that looks like a 99 spec. Wish I could be more helpful by drawing you a diagram but, unfortunately i'm computer illiterate.

I have never heard of this either. I don't see how it wouldn't "flow," as the front ends are so similar. But it would be nice if a company would do something like this as the '99-00 front bumpers do look nicer.

The guy who owns the first one said it wasn't made of two bumpers... He bought it like that from a company.
