So i have a 95 GSR. And i noticed that my cooling fan is not turning on. Now the car has a new water pump and a new thermostat. I did jump the ECT Switch by the thermostat and only the smaller condenser fan turned on. Are both supposed to turn on? Also when i turned on the A/C, only the condenser fan turns on. So i suspect that its either a bad relay or maybe a bad fan motor. Does anyone have anymore insight on this or any more suggestions?

 

Doubt its a bad fan motor its most likely your relay

 

if you jump the plug on the coolant sensor w/ key on, and the fans don't come on check fuse and relay

 

i just discovered that it is actually a bad fan. I tried to jump the fan directly to the battery and it didn't work. Now i ahve to source a new fan.

 

i'm having the same prob..how can i jump the fan so it turns on when i turn on the car...& wheres the thermostat located..94 gsr
