Default Overheating when Parked

I'm just looking for a little insight on why my 99 integra would start to over heat when parked sometimes and other times it's fine. I'm thinking it could be my thermostat that's getting stuck but wanted a second thought before I take it in to a shop.

Ditto that^^^.
First thing I would check is to see if the rad fan is turning on, [when overheating].

If fan does turn on then it will most likely be the thermostat that is sticking, if on the other hand the rad fan does not turn on it is going to be either the fan itself, the ECT switch, the rad fan relay, or a wiring issue, it may even be a defective fuse, [defective, not blown].

If it is a fan problem start by replacing the fuse with a new one, [do this when car is overheating] if that makes no diff. give the rad fan relay a tap or swap in a new or known working one, if no diff. unplug the ECT switch and jump the connector. 94

If you have A/C, you can test your fans by turning it on. If the fan does turn on you can rule out the fan and fan relay.

Does this happen if you have the ac on or off. My accord would start to over heat when my ac was on and I was stuck in traffic. It was my condenser fan.

Is your radiator low, this is something that would cause overheating when not moving

As mentioned already your radiator fan could also be a problem. I had a relay causing mine to be temperamental and work on occasion.

it's also depending on how far the meter goes. When My thermostat was done it would go past the redline of the "H"
