What head unit are u using? If it's a stock honda stereo the wires should be color coated, just match them up.

If it's a aftermarket stereo then what I do is hook up the power(12v)and memory (which is yellow or red) together-that's from

the stereo and find the 12v switch wire from your stereo wire harness.

If you cant find it, use a volt meter ground it first then start looking for voltage. When u find voltage, turn the key off.

If they voltage drops near 0 then you have found your switch(they also call it the ACC switch)

First you said u can't find it, then your said your using it, then your saying you don't need it.

What gives man? Get back when your ready to explain your problem, situation, or whatever it is you need.

Don't mean to be a dick, but sometimes you have to explain yourself a little more.

The memory wire is the ACC wire. Key On, Engine Off, you should have 12v. Get a fuse tester or a DVOM, then start testing each wire from the stereo console.

When you find 12v turn the key off, voltage should drop. There you have your memory wire.

The memory wire will have power with the key off! It's most likely a blue/white wire from the car, and should have power at all times. If it doesn't have power at all times there is no way for it to memorize radio station presets etc.
constant 12v = blue/white wire
switched 12v= yellow/red wire

http://www.the12volt.com has good info for this kind of stuff including wiring diagrams etc.

sounds like you either mixed up the constant and the switched power.....or you hooked both constant and switched from the radio to constant power at the car.
