lower tie bar question

Default lower tie bar question

will putting on a lower tie bar mess with my alignment, because i have to undo the control arm bolts to get it on?

yeah... it does, especially if the car is dropped and has a camber kit already on it. lower tie bars pull the suspension back into square, and force it to stay that way, even under cornering. If your car is at stock height, then it throws it off very marginally but a camber kit isnt a bad idea. If you already have a camber kit installed, you should loosen it before you start installing the tie bar... other wise you can screw up the camber kit... and probably are not going to be able to make the suspension fit the bar.
