I had a friend drive me back from a bar who's never driven my car before ('96 GSR), and I was giving him **** for shifting below 8000rpms.....
So the wheel, lower control arm, and the sway bar link were very deformed. I replaced those, and now my camber (after alignment) is -1.2 degrees on that corner (-.8 is max). The rest of the car is within spec.
What needs to be replaced? Do I need to get a new knuckle? Crossmember? Does anybody know what usually goes when something like that happens?
The alignment guy said that it's probably the knuckle, and suggested a camber kit to solve the problem. I don't like the idea of fixing a mangled suspension using a camber kit....
Anyone have any input on this?
