bulb keeps on turning blue
its my front right turn signal (where the corner light is). it has indicator light and is a signal with a builb that has 2 "wires " in it. it keeps on turning blue and then the bulb doesnt work anymore. i have to change it every 3 months or so. once it turns blue, the bulb is very weak and breaks easily.
what can cause this? bad ground? too much current? or too much moisture?

hey sharkytm, so would this be a lack of voltage or too much of a voltage? or just bad grounding?
the bulb looks light blue, sort of like a vase thing. then once you out a tiny bit of pressure on it it pops. i will check it with a voltmeter when i have time.
so indacator lights would be around 12 volts and signals too?

yea im using the correct bulbs. when i bought my car a year ago i changed all the bulbs that i bought from schucks (tail lights, corners, etc). the right corner has alwaws turn blue every so often.

Believe what you like. I'm sure theres a negligible difference in lifespan if you touch any bulb, but the only ones that burn hot enough to cause an issue are halogens, and of course HID ballasts. Do you not touch the surface of incandescent bulbs in your house when you change them? The run higher wattage than your headlight bulbs, but because they aren't halogen, they don't run as hot, so they dont break if you touch them. The oils cause the glass to overheat, and crack.
Anyhow. OP, check to see if any moisture is getting into that corner. Its possible that moisture could burn out the bulb.
