00 ek, issue connecting clips to headlight bulb, only high beams/brights
Alright now this has been pissing me off for months. When i purchased the car it came with ricey halo headlights that had H1 bulbs with one connection on the bulb for power and the other on the bulb mounting area for ground. Now with the Bulbs for the OEM lights they have 3 connecting points and no matter what combination i have connected all i get is high beams. It has been driving me crazy and i get flashed constantly If some one could please let me know what is going on it would be apreciated. this is the lamest thing and i cant even figure it out. the picture is of the passenger side bulb.
thanks in advance guys.

Well, looking at the bulb in the photo, the top prong is for the low beam, the left prong is the ground, and the right is for the high beam.
It looks like the wiring you have there is two grounds and two positive leads (presumably one for the high beam and one for the low). If you have a multi-tester, it should be pretty simply to figure out which is which.

Alright the RED only receives power when the high beams are on but the blue doesn't receive power when the lows are on or at all. The blacks can be classified as grounds as they never get power.
EDIT WOW i just figured it out and im not even going to say what it was becasue its embarrassing
thank you for your help
