Default H22 LockOut (searched)

So just out of the blue my 95 civic h22 swap keeps gettin 1st gear lock out like crazy, and hard to get into other gears only at times.

Then other times its like it aways has been just gliding into all the gears

I thought maybe my cables needed adjusting but when i got the center counsel apart i saw they were the non adjustable cables.

I went under the car and pull tied the 2 cables together every 2 inches that helped out a little bit but i really want to no what the problem is i never had this problem i USE to love my cabal shifter but now im fallin back for the linkage

tranny fluid. Pay attention to the weather and you'll probably notice it shifting smoother when its warm and not wanting to mesh when its cold. Get the new Honda MTF

I had that in the car it felt like crap then i tried the B&G syncro shitf 2 and it got a ton better.

But yes i have noticed that when its cold out it dose do that more often and when it warms up it feels better.

But idk it never ever did it at all idk why its doing it now.

Tried the new mtf.... Had a 5th gear grind, and still do..... Made virtually no difference to me, I had about 3k miles on just regular old 10w-30 oil in there.......lol, so going from $2 a quart crap, to $8 a quart crap didn't help me any, Although it may help you .... good luck

neither one of those items that you stated above has anything to do with your prob , you need a rebuild! ......most likely common probs are bent shift fork worn syncros and sliders most likely the sliders in my opinion

you ever changed the clutch master or slave cylinders? they go bad often, which makes the clutch not release completely. when it wont go into 1st, try pumping the clutch 5 times and then try
