Default car idles a little too rough. please help

when i plug in the stock map sensor that was on the firewall it ldles really really rough. and when i go to drive it, around 1-1.5 the car almost jumps and the whole front end just shakes!

but when i plug in the map sensor on the TB, the idle jumps from 1k to 2.5k over and over.

i got the car to ldle around 700 with the firewall map, but thats when it runs really rough.

any suggestions?

Your map sensor on the TB is more then likely leaking cuaseing it to idle like that.

Have you reset the ECU to make sure you ain't throwing code 3 (MAP)?

Honestly, it's easier to replace the map sensor then to bother trying to clean it/fix it. Go to a junk yard and find an EF, or a newer honda, and steal it's Map sensor. Five finger discount FTW.

Junk yards normally dont remove sensors when they throw a car in the yard. Every honda from 92-00 have a TB mounted map sensor, go get one.
