Default anyone with a c-pillar bar installed?

i just bought a megan racing c pillar bar. it was cheap so i figured i would give it a try. i'm looking at the interior though and it looks like the panel will either have to be cut or removed to install it. does anyone else out there have a bar back there? how did you mount it? pics would be nice also. thanks!

PS - i looked through the 5th gen pic thread (i have a 98) and saw 1 pic of a guy who cut his panel, but i just wanted to see better pics or any other cars with it installed.

You could glue it to the plastic, but that would look sloppy

That would kill the whole purpose of a c-bar not to mention look ricey as hell.

it just seems silly, like a wannabe harness bar? I don't see how it would contribute to structural rigidity in such a spot.

theres already a thick solid metal "shelf" going across that area. no need for a c-pillar bar

Just cut through the plastic and line the hole with a grommet or some other thing to make it look cleaner.
