Default Lower Shock Mount Bolt

Hey. Anybody out there know if the lower shock mount bolt on a 87 crx dx is a special bolt, or can I use a regular bot and nut. I have to cut off the nut due to rust. Thanks!

If you want to be sure, just get one from Honda. They are probably around 4 bucks or so.

if you get a "normal bolt and nut" make sure they are grade 8 hardness or harder. or they will shear off when you hit a pothole.

honda in the states still makes these bolts?? i lowered my friends car and he broke the bolt that holds the fork to the strut in the front and no one makes that bolt anymore.. had to use a grade 10.9 bolt and nut instead.
