Default Looking for a suspension setup

Well I just bought a 91 integra solely for autocrossing. I bought koni/GC for my Del Sol and I autocrossed that for a while liked the quality so I want to stay with this setup or at least something similar(very soft rates though). I read a few different places that when you get a spring rate upwards of 500lbs that they will max out the Koni yellows. I was wondering is eibach made a spring(not a coilover) that I could get up 500lbs, and what would be another option as far as shocks when I get spring rates this high.

If you plan on playing around with different springs, it'd be easier and probably cheaper to do so on standard 2.5" diameter springs... I've seen one guy post pics up of his 6" length 800 lb/in springs from eibach... Also, from the numerous koni/gc threads I've read up on, CRX LEE and VtecVoodoo both agree on running whatever spring rate you want til the koni sports blow... It'll be covered under warranty anyway....

Are there any benefit to running eibach springs with a high spring rate instead of th GC coilovers?

id disregard what chim chim said.

don't run anything over 550 or 600lbs springs on yellows. Its stupid to do so.

Your Ground control coilovers, USE eibach springs. when you order your next set of coilovers from GC tell them the rates you want (you can get them in 50lbs increments). You can not run eibach ERS springs with out GC's

As far as what dampers to get, i would purchase the 8041-RACE koni's. They come shortened and with SPSS3 valving which can handle higher spring rates just fine.

I wasn't telling him to run 800 lb springs... I was merely using it as an example. All I said it'd probably be easier and cheaper to get standard 2.5" diameter springs (which should be understood he needs GC sleeves if he already has a GC/koni setup on his del sol) in whatever length and rate he wants than having eibach making him custom sets of lowering springs in the desired rate...

Whether he wants sports or spss3 he can take up CRX Lee or VtecVoodoo for more insight... I was just stating what they have said in other suspension related threads about what they think about high spring rates on the sports...

i have seen lee state numerous times that 600 is the uper limit of sports.

and if what you were really trying to say what you said in your second post in your first post then you should have said it just like you did in your second post.
