Bump for some help over in the Integra forum...
Check out the thread above, and if anyone has any ideas why a car would be in Limp Mode without any CEL lights , please let me know before I set my car on fire

I dont have an ecu right now to try, but Ill try tommorow and see if it works...
ONE MORE QUESTION:
Does the ecu need to be bolted in place behind the kick-panel to function properly? (Is that how it is grounded?)

Well My mechanic is going over all the wiring right now, he's the one that wired it all up so I decieded better to let him handel it. Besides, I get so frustrated with crap like this that every time it happens I get closer and closer to selling the car haha
We've narrowed it down alot tho... Seems grounding out the ecu helped temporarly, and getting a new conversion harnss also helped temporarly... which is wierd. Also, As stated before I was getting a strange ticking/sparking noise from the ecu, and the problem seems directly related to that...
No sparking noise = no problems, sparking noise = problems....
So were in the process of trying to find another p72 in the area right now, and hes just going over wires/checking sensors, connections. In my opinion, its a bad ecu, but I'll keep you posted...
Also, we did just install a handata intake manifold gasket recently, and we did disconnect the injecters and other senors in that area, do you think it could be realted to that? I mean we checked all the connections, and they all seem OK, but its the only real thing I did differently that would cause problems...
(Anyone in the central Jersey area wanna sell a virgin OBD1 P72??? - Will pay good if it works 100%.... assuming I need one)

I think I got it. It was the grouping of wires that head inot the ECU. The ones that are held in that flat-rectangle plastic harness... We took the Plastic piece off and the wires were slightly tangled and overlapping, so we seperated em all, and all seems OK.
Thanks to everyone who helped me out
