Are the MSD SCI ignition control boxs universal, or are they engine specific and have to get one specifically made for your engine?

 

Honda's have great ignition systems.

Why do you need MSD? Mods? goals?

I don't think this is a common mod for you're everyday functional civic

 

the sci is universal for 4 cylinders i think. i have one and it was the same model number as all the sci boxes i seen. btw when i installed a sci box in mine, i noticed better throttle response and smoother idle n it felt like it picked up a little quicker too. i dont think it would hurt to put it in if u already have it.

Sure, if it was free then that go ahead and use it. But I wouldnt go wasting money on nonsense like that unless you truly need, which i doubt.

heard sci are great systems but never used them. i myself use a digital 6
