Default Thinner Head Gasket= higher compression ? ? ? ????

Ok I read this in a previous post , and was alittle shocked . I am still learning ins and out of somethings on engines but I know basics . My question is how does changing the head gasket change your compression ? ? ? ? If I changed my head gasket on my d16y8 how much of an increase on compression would there be ? ? Would there be a noticable change in performance when combined with Intake , exhaust and advanced timing etc etc ? ? ? ? ?

changing head gasket is same as milling the head closer you get the pistons to the head the higher the compression on the motor

the smaller the combustion chamber is the more compression there is

thinner gasket makes the block and head closer together , thus a smaller comb. chamber

closer you get the pistons to the head the higher the compression on the motor
Right, more pressure...get it now? Oh, and it's not just by changing the head gasket. It has to be a thinner head gasket for this to work. Stock won't do anything and a thicker one will lower your compression.

(((LIGHT BULB LIGHTS UP)))) Cool I gots it , thanks for the feedback . But if I do this how much might I gain in compression ? Will it be a slightly noticible gain ? ? ? , similiar to the gains seen in a intake or exhaust ?
