b18a1
i got my civic dx hatch about a month or two ago it has a b18A1 swap in it the body it self is a 1990 but im not sure on the motor i was told it was a 1989 not positive. so i race a volvo 850 low turbo automatic i beat him off the start 1st 2ed then he started to pass he beat me from a 20 mph roll took a hit to my pride so anyways the next day i got in my car started it up started driving to school and start hearing a knock really bad. i stop on the side on the road to take a visial check everything looked alright so i checked the oil and it is about 3 inchs over the top mark. it turns out that it is the wrong dip stick for the car and i have been running about 2.5 to 3 quarts of oil in my car for who knows how long before we got the car. I limp the car back home about 5 miles. once i get it there i go wake up my dad to tell him somthing wrong with the car so he comes out and hears the knock tells me its somthing in the bottem end. I LIMP the car over to the shed to started working on it start a fire and being the day. once i take off the down pipe and the oilpan the cover and the oil pick up i knew it was cylender number 4 that was bad i get under the car to take a look and the rod moves 1/8 each way. go tell me dad he says that sucks better call bumber to bumber and order the rod bearings for a 1989 b18a1 but the guy said that they didn't even make a 1989 b18a1 so im confused. is there a b18a1??
