Is this a stock tune? Check for vacuum leaks. Any FPR's or other mods besides I/E? AEM fuel rail, etc...?

I used to get that running 310cc injectors when my piggyback ECU (eManage) did not have the RPM wire plugged in. It was running way rich.

I would hook up a wideband O2 and check the A/F readings, but you proboably don't have access to that.

p0171 System too lean. Comes on after two consecutive trips where a lean condition has occured.

Fuel supply: Fuel Pump, FPR, Fuel Filter, Injectors
Primary HO2
MAP Sensor
Contaminated Fuel
Valve Clearance
Exhaust Leakage
Improperly tuned ECU
Vacuum leak

Troubleshooting in order from shop manual:
Fuel pressure?
PHO2S stuck outside 0.3 - 0.6 Volts?
Evap Purge Control Solenoid hold vacuum?
Valve clearance in spces?
Replace Fuel injectors (or flow test)

It doesn't say in the manual, but my next step would be to try another ECU and check the MAP sensor.

map sensor on Snap-On scan tool was reading according to factory specs

We have been through all this already thats why we are asking. The car had a Jackson kit before and I think that the injectors are @ a different CC than a GSR 240cc but no way to tell. Slain compaired the GSR w/another and Injector color was the same white dot, the FPR was not. We swapped out FPR this saturday and cel back on next is swap Injectors today and see. Next will be fuel pump. cross your fingers.

Do you have access to another known good ECU? Maybe a clogged injector. Crossing fingers

Well looks like we got it. Fuel pressure is now at correct pressure and Slain hasn't called yet.

because someone put the wrong FPR on it was only allowing the fuel pressure to get to 38psi. In turn setting light for lean conditions.

Well SLAIN lets hope the injectors is the problem. I wish there was a way to get the lot that sold you the car to pay for all this.
