Default tuned dry (50 shot of nitrous) w/ OEM B16a2

Im going to be tuning with AEM EMS stand alone EM but im wondering if i can be safe to spay a 50 shot repetivley. Will i run into any problems with stock internals? such as melting, detonation, cracking a ring land etc. or pre-mature engine problems....

50 is alright...

depends on how long you use it....

i used 80-100 before...1 of my valves melted and all the spark plugs..
thats spraying from second to fifth gear...all the way...and got some gouges on the bore...we did it in purpose

50 is good i guess for a short period of time

You're going to waste a $1000 standalone ECU on a stock B16 w/ a dry 50 shot???

Follow the directions for the N2O kit and knock yourself out. You don't need a tune with that.

thanks 4 the replies... I am planning on using the ZEX from 2nd gear to the top of fourth. Shouldnt it hold or will it melt like armed said?

I had a Zex wet kit and ran a 50 shot from 1st through 4th and never had a prob. Not really sure why you are going to start in 2nd???

Read the directions and retard the timing 2 degrees or it will detonate prematurely. Enjoy!

So you are going to use nitrous on the freeway. That is not a good idea IMO. Keep it on the track so you can only kill yourself.
