I've swapped the b16a sirII into my eg by myself for the last 2 days, i tried to start it before i continue so i would know it runs at least. Now i have the engine in there with most of the things plugged in except i still have to wire up the vtec solenoid, vtec pressure switch and extend the o2 sensor wiring. and i still have my axles and shift linkage off.

So here was what happened, when i put the key 2 clicks first time, i heard the fuel pump priming and CEL came on after it came off which was expected, but then when i tried to crank it, nothing happen, no sound as well.

After the first time, whenever i put the click to 2 clicks, no light came on at the dash other than the e-brake warning light even with the e-brake off and brake fluid level okay, but car still wont' crank. What did i miss now? do i really need to plug in absolutely EVERYTHING before the engine will even crank?

I recheck all the grounds and wires, they seems to be all okay.

Any help will be glad, i'm getting very frustating here.

Your car is prewired for VTEC, all you will need to wire is the knock sensor if you are using a P30. Check your fuses for the dash lights. Is your starter good?
