Default tach issue, need help quick

i just installed a civic cluster with a tach ( duno what car it came from ) into my 95 civic dx, everything works fine until i drive for about 2 minutes, then everything starts reading inaccurately, and i seriously mean inaccurately, itll say my idle is 1k at startup and initial warm up, after i drive it, itll say my idle is nearly 0-200rpm, i can cruise the highway at 80mph in 5th gear and the tach will say 2k on a DX tranny, and it shows my redline to be at 5k, wtf is going on? is this a ground problem or something/???? need help quick

Might be the cluster. Try putting in another cluster and see if that fix it.

i tried 2 other working clusters and they both did the same thing, is this like a bad ground or something? because it works fine at first and then it goes whack a little while later
