Yes they are still around, they are now owned by Maxxsonics... http://www.maxxsonics.com/index1.html
Do you have a model number for your amp, and what W3s v2 or v3?

he already knew that i was talking about W3's, he was asking what gen they were... v2's, or v'3s like he said.
anyways.. they're prolly V2's, if not 1's.. lol, ive had them for a long time, and i really dont' want to take them out of the box, just to look at the magnet. lol

damn ur right, there i go reading quickly over a thread. But i can vouch for w3 v2's (12") in a sealed box, they sound good, i would just recomend breaking them in first.

10W3v3 is a SVC 2, 4 or 8 ohm 300W sub
10W3v2 is a DVC 2, 4 or 6 ohm 300W sub
However the 10W3v2 is also listed as a discontinued sub.

hahhaa.. ok, now don't laugh. ive had these since i was a junior in high school. i graduated in 99.
these subs, and amp MUST be at the minimum 7 years old. i remember buying the sub's when the 1st generation W3's came out!

hahhaha, thats what im talking about.. old school amps rule!
i found a website very local to me, within 30 miles, and they sell old hifonics amps new.. supposedly.
all 3, the smaller one the mercury, the centurion, and then the bigger one, the taurus. CHEAP!
mercury - 160 W - $109
centurion - 320W - $129
taurus - 360W - $149
thats peak, but im still interested in getting the taurus just to hang onto.. lol

yeah, those were made after series VIII. so as long as your happy with its performance thats all that matters, but its not gonna be the true "zed audio" experince, but still a pretty decent amp. now go hook that **** up, and tell us how it sounds!
