Default Burned A Piston? What do you think?

We took my Hatch out to Skunk2 yesterday along with 2 other homies cars to Dyno and tune for Palmdale. Jerry and Dr. Charles were tuning my car when on the 3rd pass it hit 585WHP and i think a piston burned. It was tuned to 575 on 1000cc injectors at 24PSI. We upgraded to 1600cc injectors, changed to an AEM 5 Bar map sensor and turned the boost up to 35PSI. Not sure why it burned? Maybe i need a gas pump/sump set-up now? It also idles at 1k but jumps to 2k and drops back down to 1k back and forth and the exhaust is throwing white smoke. I missed palmdale, but now were going bigger bore 84mm and bigger pistons and im adding the pump/sump setup.... Hopefully with this it can handle the 35PSI and push over 650+

And thoughts on why it could have burned? too much boost on regular pump? My bore is 81.5mm, too small pistons?

sounds like too much boost for your setup (ie too much HP)
