><><> AiR CONDiTiON QUESTION!
Is it really necessary to have the AC condenser fan on when the ac is on? My ac is in working condition but my fan isn't. I don't know if I should drive with my ac on if the fan isn't work. any suggestions, this is on my 99 civic ex if that makes a difference? Thanks
hmm, when my car is idling for like 10 mins without the condenser fan, my compressor starts to throb, like rockin back n forth. do you think its from the condenser flippin the high pressure switch that cause that to do that ? or is it just a bad compressor?
the fan is pressure activated, when the high side pressure reaches something like 140psi, the fan will click on and i believe it will shut off around 115 PSI. Idiling has nothing to do with it, it's pressure activated, and if it doesn't come on then your system will reach a high pressure and the pressure switch will shut down the compressor.
