obd2a to obd2b distributor conversion... possible ?
Heya,
I'm about to swap in my b16a2('99), i have a obd2a harness.... with an obd2a ecu (p2p) . The distributor from the b16a2 is not the same one as my 96 harness.
Can I just switch wires around to make it work ?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

list the colors for both and I might be able to help, I think there is one extra on the OBD2b that doesn't get used

when i changed plugs on my distributors that were obd2a and b the change was not color for color.
you have to open both distributors, see where each wire goes, match that up to the one you want to use and solder it up like that.
