Default nuts and bolts for turbo? help please..

I'm using a spoolin performance manifold. and a Garret T3 Sabb turbo. I went too home depot and I swear i tried them all and non were working. i know there is a differnce between coarse and fine thread, but none of them would easily go in. I don't get it, what is everyone else using? I think i determined that the nuts needed for the mani are a 3/8 hex. but the turbo exhaust side i have no idea, is that 5/16 bolt? any help is great . and I can post pics if need be.

Did you bring your turbo parts in with you inside Home Depot? That's what I did lol

Call Phil back at Spoolin and double check with him on the thread pitch, it should work. If worse comes to worse, you can always re-thread the manifold, in case there is a tiny booger somewhere that is making it difficult for you.

Are you talking about those studs? At least that's what they look like, but I can't tell. Anyways, you can take them out.

When I was getting all of the hardware together for my setup, I found that a couple things were not metric (which was kind of confusing at first haha).

True, I ended up getting the last of my hardware from Orchard Supply Hardware.

Yup, homedepot has a really shitty hardware selection.

There's a local ACE hardware that has absolutely everything, from automotive manifold studs, to O2 sensor plugs etc. They also have everything in stainless as well.

So yeah, definately try a smaller local hardware store, stear clear of homedepot for anything hardware related.

I wouldn't risk it...

Just order the correct things from Phil, he sells hardware also.
