how much ignition for methanol?
just want to know how much more ignition can a give for my setup when is use methanol injection?

are you using meth as the primary fuel? or added in the intake tract, like a Snow Performance kit, for intake charge cooling? this is what i am doing:
snow stage 1 kit with aquamist HSV, controlled off of the haltech SEM output for V-tec. the nozzle is right after the FMIC, 50/50 water and methanol injected for cooler/denser intake charge. will enable me to run more timing with less detonation, thereby equaling higher output with a cooler charge. more boost, so i could run a race gas map on pump gas essentially. previously 302whp on pump gas @ 18psi..... not dyno'ed yet for the meth changes....

that **** sucks, just put race gas in it... one more thing to go wrong and kill your motor

I have the same opinion on that stuff. A lot of guys are running meth inj around here with a lot of success, but I always question it...why not just run race gas?
I guess i don't have much faith in the systems. If anything in the meth injection system fails, the motor is toast if it's tuned for meth injection. Not worth the risk in my opinion. Setup the motor properly for pump gas and run it at that. If you want more, put race gas in it.
What octane level do you achieve running pump and then injecting say...25% meth?
One of the RX7 guys here has a real nice setup he made at home that only sees high boost if it sees meth. I have been with him when his meth quits working or runs out, and it will not go over his pump boost level.

they make such things to safeguard against that situation, running out of meth/water mixture..... i am running the snow performance safeinjection with mine as well. if the SI reads a blockage, be it no more fluid, clogged nozzle, anything, it will dump boost via solenoid. you can have it totally safe for whatever purpose you need.
