Default cel code 14???? what to do

i got my check engine on so i went to see what was wrong and it came out with the code 14.. one long and 4 shorts... i searched what is the meaning on this code and what i found out was

this is what cspeedracing.com says: http://www.c-speedracing.com/faq/05.php
IAC Valve (Idle Air Control) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

and this is what Team Integra says: http://www.team-integra.net/se...ID=34
Electronic Air Control

so now my question is what should i do now in order to fix this problem.. do i have to clean? replace? what is it to do?

thanks in advance

Both of your links lead to the same web site. Fix that 1st
2nd Clean the Air control. there is a small filter that might be a little cloged.

It's located on the intake near the firewall side. It's been a while i belive it's held on by 2 x 10mm or 12mm bolt.

take iac off throttle body. its got 2 coolant lines going to it. then soak in a rust penetrant for awhile. should loosen up spring inside of the iac valve.

No thats the cold idle. the electronic is located on the intake manifold near the firewall. has 2 bolts and a two wire plug going to it. just remove you will see the small filter probley cloged. just clean and try it out. alot time that just the problem.
