anything melt with no down pipe for a 10 min drive? i'm driving to get the down pipe made, or if it would melt **** then i would get a tow.

 

it might melt your common sense valve as well as your muffler bearings..

 

I drove like that for about 10min once to the welder to have my dp made. I made sure there wasn't anything near the turbine outlet, and nothing bad happened except it was running pretty rich. Other than that, it was just really loud and I got nice looks from people on their way to work.

Just slap a header on and drive it NA on the way there.

 

NA w.o a whole exhaust system would make it MADDD loud

I've done it. If it's only on the way to get a dp made, he'll be fine. My header collector broke off on the way to work. Just drive like a grandma and lay off the gas the best you can.

 

haha a few years ago my friend ran his b20 turbo like that and ragged the **** out of it. Wasn't the smartest thing in the world, but was funny

 

Kinda defeats the purpose of a radiator when all that exhaust blows directly on it.

well first time I started it since november this morning, and she fired up like a champ, had to move it so the tow truck could get under her. New injectors, new ecu, new lots and she still fired up first turn, very proud of her!
