Default pcv system

ok well i have been having problems with my b16a burning oil at high rpms(8000-8500RPMS) did a compression check and from water pump side it went240-241-242-243.

so i decided it couldnt be the rings. so i figure its somewhere in the pcv system. well i changed the valve and didnt help any. then i noticed that ontop of the charcoal canister there is a line i have capped off that has writtin around it pcv. i need to know where this line runs?

next i went to take the breather chamber off to clean it and found out that it wasnt gonna happen in the hour that i had to spare so put everything back togethor .

next ? is has someone removed this if so can you give me a walkthrough of how to take it off.

and last i need a diagram of all the vaccum hoses thats in the pcv system.

i have went through a quart of mobil1 synthetic 5w-30 in 1500 miles.

dont come in and tell me its my rings because the only time it smokes is at the end of a gear. i just need help with the pcv system thanks

Well, seeing as a b16 wasn't made to rev over ~8,000 I could see why the extra lift duration might cause problems.

Shift when your supposed to

Well, not according to your first post.

Shift at 8200. If you're tach is off and you redline that often, I suggest you get your tach on right.

If it really does smoke at 8200 it's likely you've already floated a valve or seven.

Get a compression test done. Drive like a normal person.

Get a compressions test done, check your rings, check your blinker fluid and muffler bearings. Also, shift normal and this wont happen

You can't, the honda tach blows *** on 5g and 6g civics.

That's why I laugh my ***** off when people are dissing the ricer with the 5" autometer. Maybe he's a ricer, but he's actually seeing the right RPM where the person with their stock tach - ISN'T.

To answer the question yes check to see if there is any leaks in the PCV system.

Check the grommet and black box.

Also invest in an endyn system, One for the front, and maybe one for the rear.

You arent venting pressure correctly and the oil is being pressured past gaskets or seals. You want 0 Positive pressure inside the engine block, and I KNOW on your B-series this is yoru problem, so you pretty much answered it yourself, Fix the positive pressure issue, THEN you may rev high like that.
