Default Weird Problem: Climate Control

after doign a trann swap, i noticed that my cimate control didnt work no more. this is on a DC. all the lights would light up on the climate control itself, but the green lights shows you had selected where to aim the air to. the fan itself will not work also. so far, i had tired to swap another climate control, changed the relays thats in the under the hood fuse box, check most of the fuses still with no luck. i have also checked couple of grounds which are from the valve cover to the raditor support, tranny to the frame, wire harness to the thermostat housing. any help will be nice. thanks!

How about MM&Y and do you have A/C? 94

Do you have A/C? 94
You did check fuse 57 - 20A, [hot at all times] in under hood fuse box, [replace it with a new one to be sure].

Also check fuse 17 - 7.5A, [hot in run], in under cash fuse box, again, if you can't test them, replace with new fuse.

Also make sure radiator fan switch/engine coolant temperature switch is plugged in. 94

just went through the whole fuse box with a test light and everything is on. i had tried a trick to turn on the fan all the time by jumping the connector with no luck also. only way i got the fan to work as of right now is run a direct power to the dfan via a switch

busted a volt meter out and found this out. there is power to the relay, no power to the fan switch.

Fan switch???
When you pull the fan relay, [under hood fuse box] there should be 2 terminals that read 12V+, one is constant, [fan power] fuse 57 -20A, [hot at all times] in under hood fuse box, the other is for one side of relays coil fuse 17 - 7.5A, [hot when ign. switch is in the run position] in under dash fuse box.

I also asked if you have A/C. 94
