will it be safe enough for the engine to pour a whole bottle of techron in a half tank of gas?

less gas = more concentration but i dont want to "overdose" the engine

 

if im right chevron with techron is still gass

if you put half tank of shell's v-power (91) octane and 91 octane chevron w/ techron i'd think you'll have vtec...lol

 

im talking about the injector cleaner, not much the gas as we dont have chevron in my area.

Look on the bottle if it says anything like "Will treat up to XX amount of gallons per bottle". If it says anything like this, I'm sure you will be okay. Or use the Intranetz and look up information the manufactuer website.

 

you cant OD your car on additives. Why not just full it up and put the whole bottle in. I've put 93 + an octane booster (Blensall) in my pressure washer and its runs great.

 

I believe you pour it in with an empty tank and then fill up to the spec specified on the bottle.
