My tranny just broke and i was wondering if a B16a tranny was better or should i go with the Ls Tranny? For a 90 si B16a.

 

depends on what your plans are for the motor.If you were just gonna leave it all-motor get a b16 tranny but if you were gonna boost it i would get a LS tranny

 

i wouldnt know wats best, but im running a ls tranny on my b16..99'...it runs fine,....i dropped 3rd gear at 50mph i think? against my cousins eg hatch with a gsr in it....and i was still right there,...he didnt pull away at all.......all i know is that the b16 ratios are short...and the ls are the longest...so watever works for you

some local guys have raced one a stock ls. one a gsr swapped ls with ls tranny. from a roll the stock ls smoked him.
