JDM Gen 2 b16a Motor With LS Tranny, Bad?
When i bought the car it had an ls tranny...is this robbing me of acceleration and/or power? i have heard the b16 tranny's final drive isn't good, what tranny should i get or should i keep this and build it? I will be Turbocharging it this summer, so won't the ls tranny be well fit for the b16 turbo or no?

ls tranny is perfect for you if your gonna go turbo. but if you really want a good tranny fork out the 1000 and get the sir tranny. my cousins gots one in his ek...it pulls like crazy.

If you are turboing soon you dont want a B16 tranny... they are very short. You have an LS now, which is hurting you when you are NA but with turbo it will be ok. But if you have the money go pick up a GSR its the best of both worlds, close ratio's than the LS but longer then a B16/Type R
