Honda Techersss.....Help!!! *Searched*
Allllrite well to start im newb to this site, umm not exactly but was mainly spectating and reading the good stuff. Untill I start to have a problem of my own so i decided to join.
Ok enough of the blah and lets get down to the real deal.
97 lude SH was recently converted to JDM H22A "summer 2006" setup with
Clutch masters STG3
Clutch Master Light Flywheel
Honda OEM LSD
Obd1 conversion ect ect...
All worked fine untill the day when i powershifted and missed second gear... syncros gave up on me and started to make that nasty noise. It's fine to the point even when i powershift second gear now it goes in "most of the time" and for normal drive all i have do is delay the switching at any rpm for second to go in smoothly.
So I found out why second syncros gave up on me, and it was because my clutch master cylinder was leaking internally even tho no oil was reduced by the firewall. It was leaking from the pressure in the rubber inside..had CMC replaced but too late to save the syncros.
I was adviced by many to put Lucas/Red line and Honda MTF M transimsion wouldnt do it anymore. Since then only engine oils were goin into my tranny to reduce the grind.
Now I know my syncros are messed, however one day I had the car on idle for 1.5 - 2 hours and when it was time for me to leave. The clutch can go to any gear but wouldnt grab... I had to turn off the car for 20 minutes to cool down then drove on it with minimal grabing while on 1st gear.... engine reving 4000 - 4500 rpm and the car is going 20km/h and drops to 10/kmh if um going up the hill. The next morning the car works like a charm
So is this a normal behavior for a stage 3 clutch? is it because I have engine oil in my tranny to the point that it gets too hot and its useless? or whats the deal here.
All of the clutch components are fine and its a brand new clutch maybe 12k on it, few trak visits but thats all.
Any comments / Advices are appreciated!!
Thanks guys

head gasket maybe gone aswell. from what i know..and thats almost nothing, the only way for oils from transmission or engine to permeate is threw your head gasket, is it not? check your engine oil, if it has trans. fluid mixed in than head gasket is gone
that the last thing i would expect... and my 22 barly burns oil and it runs on Mobile1 10w/30. i just had my oil changed last week no signs of mixture at all.
thats what i suspected ...but all that goes down the drain when the "stage 3" engages. The grab is still there and and its a strong one too..... Could it be because I have my clutch set to grab at high from the pedal? I dunno im confused.
"how else could motor oil get in your transmission?"
I put Lucas or Red line engine oil on purpose in my transmission instead of Honda transmission oil to help reduce the grind on the syncros.

by slipping when in gear, what do you mean? it grabs = you accelerate and the wheels turn or it shifts into the gear and the wheels will not turn?
from this point you say it slips? I am assuming the second option, the car physically allows you to shift the gears but then nothing happens when you give it gas. In this case it has nothing to do with what lub is in your tranny it is that your clutch is shot. Have you tried adjusting the pedal at all.
