Default drag radials

hi guys. just waiting on my solid motor mounts and in the market for some radials. I'm looking at a pair of bfg's but the size is 225/50/15. this shouldn't be too wide is it. I'm mildely lowered do hopefully it's not an issue. also does anyone have 2 stock gunmetal 15's laying around for sale. what other cheap rims will fit..crv's? thanks

if you're not dropped very low you shouldnt have rubbing issues. my brother used those same size radials for his daily driver for a few weeks and had no issues.

Ran on 205/50 last year. Was able to pull conistant 2.0 60's. 225's should be able to pull 1.8/1.9's. This is with 220whp/150tq too.

I was able to drive on huge 235/60/15 radials with my stock ITR wheel and a slight drop on H&R sport springs. It rubbed slightly at full lock but otherwise ok. However at the track, when running about 10psi, the tires stretch some and were rubbing, especially under braking.

I am also looking into a set of 225/50/15 to put on some spare rims and im wondering what size rims would be best. I would like to go with 15x7 because i have 400whp but from what i have been reading in other posts that might be too wide. I will not be using the tires daily, mostly track and local car meets....any feedback would be appreciated
thanks

that tire size shouldnt be an issue but if you have clearance issues you should switch to adjustable coilovers if you havent already.

i use the 225/50/15 BFG drag radial on a 15x6.5 wheel with a 1.5" drop. they fit really well, i never leave home without them.
