Default larger size bfg drag radials in comparison

This may have been discussed but I searched and didn't see a thread.

I have been out of things for a while but last time I had checked the largest most logical size for hondas were 225/50's. Now I see they have 235/60/15. 275/50/15, 255/50/16, they are supposedly all 26.1'' tall

Has anyone tried any of these. I am curious as to how these would compare to the et streets and M and H drag radial.

I run the 205's on a 14" steelie.

I haven't tried them on a boosted car yet, just a single cam w/ a 50 shot. (Ran a 14.3 @ 99)

Before the drag radials, on the street I would spin going into second real bad, now they hook perfectly. Launches are alot easier, although I had to remind myself to treat them like slicks. If you treat them like a normal street tire and try to baby it off the line, you'll bog and get shitty 60 fts. (Trust me, lol.)

The tires are incredibly soft, and when they get hot are very sticky.

My BFG 225/50/15 won't hold 500whp in 2nd gear and that is at the strip not the street. I've seen people run low 11s with same tires and same power level. I'm puzzled.

I am not really looking for information on anything smaller than 235/60/15, I have seen plenty of threads over the past years speaking of those smaller sizes. But I am curious to how these "newer" sizes hold up to decent amounts of pump gas hp (450-500whp range), in comparison to some of the other brands who had these larger sizes out earlier.

I'd like to know also. BTW: What would it take to fit these bitches under an EF chassis?

What kind of offset does it take to fit a tire that big without rubbing?

i have heard the mt et street radials hook pretty damn good on the street on some fwd cars, the smallest size they make is a 235/60R15, i plan on buying a set, alot of people with rwd cars are running them and my buddy is running them on a low 11 sec camaro and pulling 1.5 60s and better at the track on them so i can imagine they should be a pretty good street tire

I know all about ET Street Radials, I looking specifically for info on bfg larger sizes.

I don't know the offset but I have seen both the ET Street Radials in a 235/60/15 and a 255/50/16 on rota wheels on a civic, and those off sets are in the low 40's upper 30's. And I would think lowering you offset would only help the rubbing issue but then might stick out the fender.

245/50/16 nitto 555r fits ok on my eg hatch. Its a little shorter then the 235/60/15 but still a big difference in gearing compared to the 225/50/15 BFGs i used to run. 16x7 konigs in whatever offset they come in; with a little less offset they would fit perfect, but would need fender flares. I will throw up some pics tomorrow as well as my offset.
